We pride ourselves on our small classes which ensure that each student gets individual attention and has adequate time and access to our equipment.  If a class does not have at least 3 students 4 days before it is scheduled, it will be canceled and you will be notified.  If you need to cancel a class, please notify us as soon as possible.  Notice must be given at least 4 days in advance in order to receive a refund or a credit.  For a full overview of the classroom amenities, please visit our Studio Overview Page.

Dust off that machine and letís get sewing! Whether or not you have sewn before, in this series we will start with the basics.

Join us for a fun night out and a quick and easy project. These practical pouches are perfect for pens and pencils, makeup or odds and ends. You can never have too many! They make perfect gifts.

Join us for this quick and easy project! No experience necessary. We welcome all parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and children young and old who wish to take a class together.

In this class we will show you 5 different ways to make napkins and then help you make your own set. We will cover hemmed, mitered corner, rolled hem, fringed edge and double sided napkins. Students will be have the chance to use any of our machines including the sergers.

This tote is the perfect size for everyday use! The bag lining has a divided pocket inside. The tote has a magnetic snap closure and reinforced bottom. The tote handles are top quality genuine leather and will be provided to students. They are fastened to the bag with 4 rivets on each handle for added strength. They are sized to fit over your shoulder or in your hand without touching the ground. The finished bag measures approximately 19 inches wide by 12 inches high. The bottom is boxed and measures 4Ē wide.

This top features a curved hem that is slightly longer in the back, and a contrast back yoke. Stylish Simplicity! Make this top in a woven voile, lawn, rayon or quilting weight cotton. You can also go down a size and easily make this top from a knit fabric.

A woven t-shirt with capped sleeves and scoop neck. Fitted at the shoulders, this top falls into a loose shape below the bust. Techniques involved include straight seams, bias binding, setting sleeves and basic hemming.

The Willow Tank Dress is a versatile and reliable staple for all warm weather seasons. Itís fitted at the shoulders and falls into a relaxed fit below the bust. Itís unfussy and can be made into a dress or a tank top. Wear it to a picnic or on an elegant evening out.

The Lottie Dress and Shirt are loose fitting wardrobe staples with three sleeve and three length options for 18 mix and match combinations. All three views pull over the head without the need for closures, making it a great project for a new sewer, or a fast sew for someone more experienced. Perfect for a sewer new to garment construction, or a quick make for a more advanced sewer, we will go through all the steps to make View B which has short dolman sleeves with an add-on to lengthen the sleeves to 3/4-length, patch pockets, and lands just above the knee.

This class is just right for kids 5-7 years old who want to learn to sew. In this 4 week class, we will learn the basics and complete a few easy projects.

In this 4 day workshop, we will make the Creative Maker Supply Case. This case will be a back to school essential! All cases feature mesh and topstitched pockets on the inside for ample storage space, as well as elastic for holding pens and pencils.

It's time to get creative! Each student will start with an unfinished bed. We will paint and decorate the bed, make a mattress, quilt and pillows. We will even make some pajamas. The bed and the pajamas will fit and 18" doll.

Make your first quilt in this fun 4 day workshop. We will learn how to make 4 different types of quilt blocks and put 30 of those together to make the Squares and Strips Quilt. We will learn quilt piecing, basting, quilting and binding. Students will leave with a finished quilt approximately 40" x 48".

Spend the afternoon sewing! We have lots of projects and samples to choose from. Students can select a project and fabric and work on it at their own pace. Small classes provide students with attention and instruction while encouraging independent sewing and skill building.

Get ready for summer with this fun swim theme workshop. We will make a tote bag to carry your swim gear, a bucket hat and a breezy swim coverup.

Students move through each section (101, 102, 103) at different paces. Students sign up for 6 week sessions at a time. Enrollment is on a rolling basis, so kids can jump in when there is an open spot. We recommend taking a Kids Beginner Sewing Workshop if they have never sewn before. Students work on project kits. Each kit encompass five to six projects for students to choose from to thoroughly learn the new skills being taught. The kit includes everything needed to successfully complete each project and apply the new skills being learned. As a student progresses through each section, projects become more complicated, this sometimes affects the cost due to increase in fabric and notions.

Students move through each section (101, 102, 103) at different paces. Students sign up for 6 week sessions at a time. Enrollment is on a rolling basis, so kids can jump in when there is an open spot. We recommend taking a Kids Beginner Sewing Workshop if they have never sewn before.

This 2 hour workshop will cover all of the basics! We will learn all about the sewing machine, safety and threading. Then we will warm up with some practice at the machine and make a fun project. After this workshop, your child will be ready to jump into our Sewing 100 class or take some of the project classes.

Have your child stay for lunch between the morning camp and the afternoon sewing.

Celebrate your birthday with a custom sewing party! We will provide all of the materials and equipment needed for each guest to make a custom pillow. Parties last 2 hours to give us plenty of time to go over the basics, finish the project, and enjoy cake or food. Guests do not need prior sewing experience. All of the machines will be threaded and ready to go, so all you have to do is show up and have fun.

Squares and Strips Quilt quilt uses fat quarters or 1/4 yards, and is a fun beginner friendly quilt to make. In this class, we will work on the quilt top, but we will give you tips for quilting and binding.

Bring the quilt top your working on, grab an unfinished one or start something new! Instructor Sue Pedersen will give you tips, tricks and advice to help make piecing precise, easy and fun. All you need to bring is your project! We have a fully equipped classroom with brand new machines, cutting mats and tools.

Do you have a serger sitting in a box or a closet? Have you ever thought about buying one but want to try it out first? Are you dreading learning how to thread it? This class is for you! Dust off that serger and join us!
